Salut, 
I'm Mona.

Actually from Munich, but a bit French at heart. I always wanted to be a chef! And where can you learn more about cuisine and enjoyment than in France? I ended up in the west of France, on the Atlantic coast. In Nantes, the capital of Brittany until the middle of the last century, I learned to cook with lots of butter (a Breton habit) and love (a fact throughout France). Then I worked in Paris, which, in my opinion, has the most innovative restaurants in France. My dream, however, was to open my own restaurant. That's why I looked a little beyond the rim of the saucepan and returned to my hometown to study business administration. The pandemic started the concept of “cooking for neighbors” and I am now opening my own restaurant “Coup de Coeur” on Westendstr. In many ways, my love continues to be for beautiful France, the French style of cooking and the "art de vivre", the art of enjoyable living.  If you want to be part of my adventure, sign up for my food newsletter:

Coup de Coeur is a French saying. It means something like "having a spontaneous enthusiasm for something", "liking something very much". This can refer to a dish, a new favorite place or a person. In my dishes I often have a coup de coeur for a certain product , I find it exciting what you can get out of simple ingredients, how diverse you can prepare them and what flavor explosions you can create.
